Ab jo guzar gaya us main janay ki baat kia 
Ab jo aa raha hai us main bhi jeenay ka mahol kaha 
Tum kaho to hai ye nayal saal 
Werna zindagi mai ab jawaani kaha 


Saal dar saal ki baat nahi 
Ye gham e qissa purana hai 
Mere gham ki shaamo mein to saalon ko yu hi ana jana hai 


Ye dil nahi siyasi is per to mehshar tak bashar ka saya hai 
In chalti sanso ko to shayad jaise naea saal main kahi kho jana hai 


Ye 365 din ya 12 mahino ki baat nae 
Meri waqt se jaise ye pehli mulaqat nae 
Mai 25 main bhi saal 24 se bahar nae
Insaan ab buray waqton mein waqton ka yaar nae


Sach kahi kho gaya jhoot k zamaanay lot ae
Ham kaha se kaha khud ko dhoond laea
Zameer kahi reh gaya per ham kahaanio ko pehchan tak lay ae
Is saal se us saal tak hum musibato ko bhi hum saat piro laea


Vasi safar hai koi to karam nawazi ho 
Koi to saazish ho sifarish ho
Beshak mukhtasar meri kahani ho 
Par naye saal pe sab ki zubani ho

    listened this in my gym...even though i was wearing my pods the music distracted me , left my workout, sat and listened to the song...ran to the reception to ask what words it was..been listening on repeat since then , what a masterpiece...one of the best poet in the lost list i've heard
