Aetbaar kahain gae aitraaz kahain gay haal-e-waqt ka shikwa bhi kahain gae
Jo na keh sake to qalam utha k teri dehleez par dastak de gae
Suna hai tu rota bahut hai anjane or pehchaane logo k saat jhoot bolta bohut hai
Meri jaan zindagi mei isi tarah to yaado ka dariya peechay choot ta bahut hai
Suna hai tera aitbar khali kagaz sa hai log likhty bohut hai tu mita ta bahut hai
Yun hi to nahi insaan zindagi mein tanha nazar aata bahut hai
Suna hai tere lafzon mein nazar aati hai saadgi
Shayad is liye to her rishta tord k pashtata bohut hai
Suna hai Tere chehre se nazar ati hai tere zameer ki uljhaan
Suna hai Tu jahaan jata hain waha zikr e yaar karta hai
Kyun tu bar bar yu khud ko barbad karta hai
Suna hai teri zuban ki taseer bohat piyassi si hai
Ye jo tune lafzon ko rok rakha hai kyun tune khud par itna bojh rakha hai
Suna hai tu yaha waha mehekta bohat hai
Teri shaamo mein tere ghum ka chiraag chamakta bohut hai
Yuhi tou tu badnaam hota bahut hai kyun tu awarapan ka libas pehainta bohut hai
Nasamjhi mein kiye huea soday, rishtay, aitbar kho jaty hain kahi
Faqat waqt bewaqt k yaar ghum ho jate hain kahi
Ye zamne ka dastoor sabaq yaad dilata hai
Phir afwaaon mein zindagi ko hosh aata hai
